Description:
This piece for twelve horns is loosely inspired by the Disney Pixar film, Wall-E. Originally notated for twelve horns alone, in recording I added some improvised synthesiser effects to depict some sort of ‘robotic conversation’ throughout the piece. In doing so, the recording includes two extra bars of just synthesiser directly before letter C; I have omitted this in the score and parts to allow for the piece to be performed more smoothly without synthesiser. The synthesised sounds in the recording available online are not notated but were an ensemble able and willing to perform the work live with synthesiser, I would fully encourage for those sounds to be improvised or recomposed.
