Description:
A musical mantra and meditation. I use this to engage with the spiritual mantra. The music helps me affirm the mantra eighty-one times, bringing good focus and spaciousness. A bed of moving notes sounds the ground of being, whilst the twelve-note rhythm sounds the name of the meditation: “Buddha Am-og-ha-sid-dhi”. A third layer of music sounds the mantra: “His Gesture of Fearlessness”. The cover picture is the double vajra, symbolising the overcoming of obstacles. This works with both "Amoghasiddhi”, and “Green Tara and their All-Accomplishing Wisdom”. This work has nine parts, but due to the physical demands of the piece, a live performance would require twelve or more players. Eighteen players would be ideal if possible.
